Barista Training

Our basic Tauranga barista training course takes you through the steps of making a great cup of coffee.  Whether you are a home enthusiast or want to gain skills for the hospitality industry, Excelso has the right barista training course for you.

We will begin the two hour barista training class with some basic history of where coffee started and how it is grown and produced.  You will learn how to make espresso coffee drinks, steam and texture milk and also how to maintain and clean the equipment.  There will be plenty of time to practice the extraction of coffee and the frothing of milk.
